*CFP* "INDIAN POPULAR CULTURE: THEORY, ENTERTAINMENT, POLITICS AND BEYOND", EDITED VOLUME OF RESEARCH PAPERS

The current project aims to take into consideration Indian popular culture which encompasses a wide array of fields. Topics may include (but not restricted to):

1. Mainstream Film 
2. Advertisements 
3. Music and Other Videos 
4. Television Culture 
5. Social Networking 
6. Popular Fiction 
7. Popular Politics 
8. Art and Sculpture 
9. Theories of Popular Culture

There is NO publication or any other fee. There will be no compromise with quality of articles. Articles must be original and evince serious work of research. Consistency of argument and stylistic evenness are to be maintained. Theory-based and analytical articles will be preferred over overviews and summative evaluations. Substandard and plagiarized articles will be rejected.

Word-limit: 2500—3000 (preferably within the limit)

Submission must go to the email address songofmuse@gmail.com as neatly-typed MS-Word file (.doc/.docx) attachment. A short bio-note (within 100 words) of the author should be added at the end of the paper. Format and documentation must strictly follow MLA stylesheet (8th ed.). Find an illustrated guide here.
