*CFP* "ITALIAN PEDAGOGY", EDITED VOLUME

We invite scholars and experts in the field of language methodology and language acquisition to submit abstracts for an edited volume of original essays on new strategies for teaching Italian language and culture. We are looking for essays, with different methodological and hands-on approaches that focus on practical examples for faculty to reconfigure course syllabuses, and new ways to deliver interesting and stimulating curriculum. This will be a project with a coherent and organized overview of contemporary Italian pedagogy from an international perspective.

The volume will offer different examples and techniques for best practices and guidelines according to both the ACTFL and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The proposal will be submitted to Georgetown University Press that has indicated interest, upon selection of the contributors. Tentative date of publication is the end of 2021. Authors will be informed of acceptance by March 2021.
