May 18th, 19th and 20th, 2021
The Organising and Scientific Committees of the VI International Congress on Communication Ethics invites you to participate in theCongress that will be held in a semi-presential way on May 18th, 19th and 20th, 2021, at the Faculty of Information-Communication Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), under the title "Communicating what is essential in the public sphere: Ethics and Deontology as a guarantee of the social function of the Media and its professionals".
The preferred language will be Spanish, but communications in Portuguese or English will also be accepted. The full communication may be sent until June 6th 2021. All accepted communications, delivered in time and following the Structure Rules and style indications, will be edited in an e-book, with ISBN and legal deposit, to be published in Fragua publishing house, recognized with the SPI quality seal for publications specialized in Humanities and Social Sciences.
The opening, inaugural conference, plenary sessions and closing will take place in the Conference Room of the Faculty of Information Sciences of the UCM, with the capacity that is allowed at that time, and will be broadcast by Streaming. Means will be provided for virtual assistants to ask their questions. Some speakers will participate virtually. The Parallel Communications Sessions will be held only in virtual format through Google Meet. Congressmen may present their Communication live or send a video to the organization of 10 minutes maximum. In view of this new modality in the development of the Congresses, and in the spirit that all possible academics, professionals, researchers, students and interested in the subject can participate, the prices of registrations have been reduced compared to previous editions.
From October 19th to December 20th, Communication proposal (abstracts) can be sent through the Congress website. The Scientific Committee shall assess the proposals that are coming in and, as soon as possible, its decision will be communicated to the interested parties.
