*CFP* CALL FOR ARTICLES, SPECIAL ISSUE, THE LANGUAGE, CULTURE, ENVIRONMENT JOURNAL

Language, Culture, Environment Journal Language, Culture, Environment is Central Asia’s first internationally peer-reviewed, English-language humanities journal, published four times per year by KIMEP University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Our aim is to encourage a diverse range of international collaborative work that contributes to our knowledge and understanding of communication and cultural practices and offers new perspectives on the challenges confronting a new age of environmental change. The ISSN for this open-access, online journal is 2709-5010.

The editors welcome submissions for the upcoming Winter 2020 issue, which bears the theme “Online.” Scholars working in the fields of applied linguistics, pedagogy, cultural studies, cultural production and criticism, and environmental humanities are encouraged to submit articles that interrogate the linguistic, cultural, and/or environmental impacts of humanity’s increasingly rapid migration toward digital spaces.

Please submit Microsoft Word .doc/.docx articles of between 6,000 and 8,000 words in 12-pt., Times New Roman, Chicago (footnotes and bibliography) style to the journal coordinator, Dr. Amanda Al-Raba’a, at: lcekimep@gmail.com. 

 

All submissions must be in English. Authors should submit the article for consideration with a 2-page CV, which must include their name, affiliation, e-mail address and a list of research publications within the last five years. Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions for the inclusion of copyrighted text and images in their articles.
