*CFP* CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS, JOURNAL OF FEMINIST STUDIES

The Journal of Feminist Studies is currently accepting submissions on any aspect of feminisms, feminist studies and activism, and visions of feminist justice.

We are especially interested in examining productive controversies and divergences between transnational, intergenerational, and intersectional contexts of feminism.  JFS supports a variety feminist approaches to, and discussions of, feminist thought for the twenty-first century. We also welcome submissions that focus on feminist pedagogies, activism, and creative formats.

JFS began with a mission to explore the state of feminist scholarship at the turn of the new century, and we see this endeavor as part of a continued political project that asks: What are the directions of feminism today, and what relationships are sustained by feminist inquiry and action throughout history?

About JFS
Currently, JFS is published through a collaborative feminist and institutional relationship between the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and the University of Rhode Island.  JFS is a twice-yearly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published online and aimed at promoting feminist scholarship across the disciplines, as well as expanding the reach and definitions of feminist research. We aim to publish work that explores the multiple theoretical paradigms and political agendas of contemporary and historical feminist scholarship and the potential intersections and tensions between these paradigms and agendas.

We are a “double-anonymous” peer reviewed journal. As an online journal, we are able to offer open access to its contents to feminist scholars anywhere in the world where there is an internet connection. Online publication also has an immediacy that allows us to feature articles on topics that are in the here and now and to significantly shorten the time lag from submission to publication for our contributors.

Abstract: 31 December, 2019.
To submit your article, access the submission portal. Please consult our Policies page and Journal Style Guide for details.
